Youngsters ready for Strathaven's Sport Relief Mile

  • The Sport Relief Mile in Strathaven will be in the park on Sunday 21st March
Nursery children and friends from the Sweetie Brae Nursery are getting ready to run in the Sport Relief Mile in Strathaven.

The Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile is on Sunday 21st March, at 12 noon. Entrants will meet at the bandstand or the Barrie Shelter, depending on the weather - the six and three mile events start at 1pm and the one mile starts at 2pm.
Entries are already full for the mile which will run will around the George Allan and John Hastie parks - so get along and give your support to the runners young and old.

There will also be face painting, tombola, nibbles and entertainment on the day.

The money you raise through sponsorship will be spent by Comic Relief to help transform lives here in the UK and across the world's poorest countries.
