Strathaven’s Chris Moon beats personal record by over 10 hours!
Congratulations to Chris Moon, who has completed one of the toughest marathons on earth - the Badwater Death Valley Ultra-marathon - in under 42 hours!
This means that the author and campaigner has succeeded in knocking at least 10 hours off his last race time of 53 hours!
The 50-year-old, who lost an arm and leg to a landmine, tweeted: “Finished! 41 hours 58 mins 38 sec. Hurrah. Huge thanks for all your support. Time for a sleep!”
