Strathaven ski star Pam Thorburn profiled in new magazine

Strathaven skier Pam Thorburn is making a move to a new event this season - and is looking forward to the new challenge on her return from a shoulder injury.

The newly launched online magazine 'Emulate' features Pam in its first issue, with a photo feature profiling Pam's tranisition to a new discipline of ski cross, and the realities of life as a professional skier.

This season Pam is coming back from a serious shoulder injury, and also making the change from the 'traditional' alpine downhill skiing to the exciting new world of Ski Cross - where skiers race together on the slopes, rather than against the clock.
