Strathaven Gala 2012 programme now on sale!

The 2012 Strathaven Gala programme is now on sale in local shops – so you can now get your hands on all the details of this year’s festival – as well as the usual directory of local businesses, organisations – and more!

The programme – with cover designed by Hannah Jackson (11) from Wester Overton Primary – is now on sale from various outlets around the town, priced £2.

The annual programme, which comes in at 100 pages, is one of the Gala’s biggest fundraisers of the year, as well as providing a complete guide to the Gala festival week. There are also photos of Queen Kirsten Waddell, champion Ross Paterson and the full Gala court, and the entry form for the Window Spotting competition.

We’ll have more details about the Gala and all the events on Gala week here on s1strathaven over the coming weeks – but right now we want you to go out and buy the programme – and help support the Gala and all the hard work of the committee and other helpers who make the big event happen every year.
