Scouts cash in as Round Tablers present cheque donation

The Strathaven & District Round Table have once again shown their support for local Scouts, handing over another cheque to the Strathaven group, this time for £1,000.
This time the Round Table were supporting the Scout’s to brighten up their Hall with a new lick of paint!
2011/12 Round Table chairman David Donald said, “Strathaven Scouts have been part of our community for so many years now and we’re once again delighted to be supporting them with this upgrade to their hall.”
In the few weeks following Christmas, the Strathaven Round Table has committed to give away more than £6,000 to various excellent local groups and schools. This does however leave the guys at the Table with a challenge to raise even more cash for our community and we look forward to seeing what they come up with next.
