Members elected to serve Strathaven on South Lanarkshire Council
4 May, 2012Voters in Strathaven took the chance to have their say on local issues this week, to elect new local representatives to serve on South Lanarkshire Council as Scotland went to the polls in local elections.
After all the votes had been counted, the following candidates were elected to serve as councillors for the Avondale and Stonehouse ward for the next five years.
Graeme Campbell – Independent
Margaret Cooper – Labour
Isobel Dorman – SNP
William Holman - SNP
