Latest extract from 'Home Front' book now on s1strathaven

A second selection of extracts from Bob Currie's new book - 'Strathaven Home Front News 1914-1918', which delves into the archives of the Hamilton Advertiser to uncover some fascinating stories from Strathaven during the first world war is now in the Area and History section of s1strathaven

There will be more extracts and photos to come over the next few weeks from the book, which is now on sale priced £12 from the Computer Shop and Craigs Newsagents in aid of the 'Help for Heroes' and Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association.
