Auction of Sir Harry Lauder memorabilia raises over £12,000
8 Mar 2010Almost 30 lots, including items such as costumes and signed photographs from the music hall entertainer's career, were sold by members of Sir Harry's family at Shapes Auctioneers in Edinburgh.
The single highest price was for a shepherd's crook once owned by the entertainer at £5,800, while a travel trunk, containing kilts and a sporran, also raised £3,600.
