Hello my name is Jessie Gibb Scott maiden surname Kennedy. I, seen Harry Lauder on the stage at the Tivoli Theatre, Guild Street, Aberdeen, I, was aged 3 years, now I am 70 years, and still love him. My late Mum, who had a lovely singing voice, sang all of Harry Lauder's songs to my sister's and I, during World War Two. I, think the most famous of his songs and the best loved is his song, Keep Right Onto The End Of The Road, it certainly was my Mum's, when the going got tough, now it is mine when the going get's tough for me. I, love just a wee doch and doris, because you are not drunk, if ye' can say it's a braw' brich't moon lich't nich't the nich't, cannot suffer anyone, that is absolutely blootered. Sincerely. Jessie G Scott maiden surname Kennedy, 14 Raeden Place, Aberdeen, AB15 5WN. PS. It, was not a video, being a static photo of Harry Lauder.
it was a song not a proper video, but it brought back some happy memories, which were in very short supply, when I was little, I, seen Sir Harry Lauder, when I. was 3 years of age in Aberdeen, and have loved him, and his songs, now I, am aged 70 years, and still love him. I, would love to make a proper video of this song, and put it onto, "You Tube.com," Sir Harry was a wonderful man, and had compassion, for all the young men, who gave their lives, for Scotland, in the Great War 1914/1918, when he took time of the stage to write a song even to this present day people sing, Keep Right On To The End Of The Road, a song that has lived far longer than any Pop, music of today. Sincerely. Jessie G Scott maiden surname Kennedy. (Aberdeen, Scotland)
