Having tuned into the recording of Sir Harry Lauder singing 'Keep right on to the end of the road I was struck by the the amazing quality of the s1strathaven.com reproduction.
I first listened to this rendition some 60 years ago as a youngster of 12 years of age and even at that tender age was struck by the truly inspirational word of Sir Harry's words - Let's face it the message is timeless and absolutely spot on as the world faces what could turn out to be the worst financial crisis ever.
I would like to think that this picture and video would remain as a standard feature of the website. After all Harry lived amongst us and his name is synonymous with the town's heritage.
Thanks for the memory!
