When You Wish Upon A Star is a small national charity, with its Scotland office based here is Strathaven.

When You Wish Upon A Star's primary aim is to grant the Wishes of children suffering from a Life Threatening Illness.

We aim to make these Wishes come true and provide precious memories for these special children and their families.

Wishes we have granted in the past include a meet and greet with a favourite star, a trip to Disneyland to swim with dolphins and for our younger children a chance to meet Father Christmas.

Each year as a charity we charter our Santa Express from Prestwick airport to take these children on the trip of a life time.  Here they have the most magical day riding through the enchanted forest pulled by Rudolph, having snowball fights with Santa's little helpers and finally being able to give their Christmas list to Santa in person.

With you help and support we will be able to make these Wishes come true for our very special children.
