Strathaven Ramblers

Strathaven Ramblers was constituted in November 2008, and provides the opportunity for individuals to participate in led walks within fifty miles of Strathaven.  Walks are usually between 5 and 8 miles long, so it is advisable to bring a packed lunch. Strathaven Ramblers encourages car sharing, and meet at 9.30 a.m. in Station Road Car Park on the day of the walk. 

Strathaven Ramblers is a part of Ramblers, which is Britain's biggest walking charity, and as a member, you can walk with any of the Ramblers Groups to be found all over the country.  For further details of Strathaven Ramblers or a Walks Programme, contact Alan Thomson on (01357) 521420 or email alan_thomson@talktalk.net.  Details of Ramblers can be found at www.ramblers.org.uk
