Avondale Civic Society

The Society promotes interest in, and care for, the beauty, history and character of Avondale (Strathaven and surrounding area).  We campaign for higher standards of planning and development in the area and work in partnership with other organisations to deliver small improvement projects, leaflets, heritage trails, etc. We also offer a programme of talks and visits to places of interest.
